One of the hardiest palms (down to -10°C). Grows in Seattle and New York. Delicious fruit.

Native to: Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay
Growth: 18-25 feet. Slow.
Frond: Pinnate fronds that arch inwards
Trunk: Thick, stout
Fruit: Edible, delicious, orange, pineapple-apricot-valnilla-mango-flavored
Water requirements: Year-round water, medium.
